Returns & Refunds Policy

  1. What can be returned
    You can request a return within 10 days of delivery if all of the following are true:
    The item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition
    All original tags are still attached
    The item is in its original packaging
    You have your order confirmation email or invoice
    You have emailed me first to get the return approved before sending anything back
    Important: Please do not send items back without contacting me first. Unapproved returns cannot be processed.
  2. What cannot be returned
    - Orders, once in production. Already being handcrafted for you
    - Worn, washed, or altered items. No longer in original condition
    - Items without original tags/packaging. Cannot be verified as unused
    Natural variations in handmade, hand-embroidered, or block-printed items are part of their unique character — not defects. Please check product descriptions before ordering.
  3. Defective or wrong item received
    If your order arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, I'll fix it at no cost to you.
    What to do
    Email us within 48 hours of delivery with:
    - Your order number
    - A clear description of the problem
    - Photos of the defect or wrong item (including a photo of the tags and packaging)
    Defect and wrong-item claims must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. After this window I can't process the claim. Please open your parcel and check it as soon as it arrives.
    What happens next
    Once I review your photos, I'll offer you one of the following — your choice:
    A replacement of the same item (subject to stock availability)
    A full refund to your original payment method
  4. Exchanges
    We do not offer any exchanges as the items are made exclusively for you
  5. Return shipping costs
    For Defective item (my mistake) and Wrong item sent (my mistake) we will cover the return shipping costs.
    Self-shipping: Use any reliable courier service (Bluedart, DTDC, Delhivery, or Speed Post). Write your order number clearly on the package. Share the tracking number with me after dispatch.

  6. How to start a return
    Step 1 — Contact me  Email us with your order number, the reason for return, and photos if relevant.
    Step 2 — Get approval  I'll respond within 48 hours with a decision and return instructions. Please do not ship anything before getting approval.
    Step 3 — Pack & ship  Pack the item securely with all tags attached. If I'm arranging pickup, I'll send a label. Otherwise, self-ship using your preferred courier.
    Step 4 — Inspection  Once I receive the item, I'll inspect it within 3–5 business days and confirm whether it meets return conditions.
    Step 5 — Resolution  Your refund, exchange, or store credit will be processed immediately after inspection is approved.
    Pack it like you'd receive it
    Items returned in damaged or unsuitable condition cannot be processed. Please use bubble wrap or tissue paper and ensure the item won't get crushed in transit.
  7. Refunds
    All refunds are process 7-10 days after receiving the returned item subject to the conditions stated here for returns. The amount is returned through UPI or Bank Transfer.
  8. Order cancellations
    Cancelling before dispatch - Email us as soon as possible with your order number. If the order hasn't been dispatched yet, I can cancel it and issue a full refund within 7 business days.
    Cancelling after dispatch
    Once an order has been dispatched, it can't be cancelled. You can refuse delivery and the item will return to me — but return shipping may be deducted from your refund. Alternatively, accept the delivery and initiate a return.
  9. Cancellation by Happy Threadz
    I reserve the right to cancel an order if:
    The item goes out of stock after your order is placed
    There is a pricing or product description error
    Payment does not clear
    The order appears to be fraudulent
    In any of these cases, you'll receive a full refund within 7 business days and I'll email you to explain.
  10. Quality check on returned items
    All returned items go through a quality check when I receive them. I check for:
    Original tags and packaging intact
    Item is unworn, unwashed, unaltered
    No signs of perfume, deodorant, stains, or wear
    Matches the item and condition described in your return request
    If the return fails the quality check
    If an item doesn't pass the quality check, I'll contact you with photos to explain why it can't be accepted. The item will be sent back to you at your cost.
  11. International orders
    Returns are not available for international orders.
